Poldark filming locations outside Cornwall

Poldark filming locations outside Cornwall? There are plenty, and, if like me you really can’t wait for the next BBC series of Poldark, then why not explore the beautiful residences of the Poldark family, friends and enemies!

Whilst NOT wishing to spoil the magic for anyone, the Poldark production is actually based at Bristol’s Bottle Yard Studios.

Hence so many Poldark filming locations are outside Cornwall. Of course nowhere else can boast that beautiful Cornish coastal scenery, but Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset have some amazing early period properties just crying out to recreate the 1700’s of the Poldark saga.

Trenwith, the ancestral home of the Poldark family, is that the shadow of Aunt Agatha seated in the corner?
