On from Saturday 27th May to Sunday 4th June there is plenty to see and you can spend the whole week admiring the varied talents of many Wiltshire artists. The full brochure awaits you in Coachmans Cottage

If you would like to follow the trail by bike, much of it coincides with the Wiltshire Cyclewayand there is space to leave your bikes in the courtyard at Coachmans Cottage.

Admission to all the events is free. Opening times are from 10.30am to 5.30pm unless otherwise stated.

Focus On Five is as the title suggests 5 artists come together to put on a display

Jenny Ford Painting & printmaking. ‘Listen to the hills’ – a response through paintings and prints, to the hills around Westbury.

Jan Knight Prints, paintings, mixed media. Abstract work based on the theme of ‘Meeting Points’ – where shape, line, colour and texture relate.

Julia Leyden Painting, print, collage. Paintings and prints on a variety of themes.

Kerrie McNeil Printmaking. Screen prints inspired by the coast and the countryside, handmade cards and earrings.

Josephine Sumner Printmaking. Colourful original prints of animals and birds, using linocut, silkscreen and woodcut.

Iford Arts 2017 Holiday Cottages Self Catering Accommodation

Starting on Saturday May 27th and continuing through to Saturday August 5th. With seating for an audience of 90 and staged at the Grade 1 listed Iford Manor, 6 miles from Bath,  Iford Arts 2017,  offer a wide array of musical delights including:-


Puccini’s La Boheme, conducted by Oliver Gooch with the young tenor Anthony Flaum as Rudolfo, and Irish Soprano Maire Flavin as Mimi; the fire spitting Riesha Adams as Musetta and Nick Lester as her long-suffering lover Marcello.

Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, sung in English, and created for Iford Arts by Charles Court Opera. Youthful energy prevails in this bright production from the Artistic Director, John Savournin, and is conducted by David Eaton.

Handel’s Jephtha, conducted by Christopher Bucknall and directed by Tim Nelson, this great work, with its surprising conclusion, still raises questions for today.


These operas are interspersed with concerts intertwining through the program aimed to appeal to a wide audience. Performers include:-

Clare Teal and her TrioLeeds City Stompers; Hailey Tuck; Tipitina; Pee Wee Ellis’ Funka Nova Quartet;

Bartoune; Iford Arts New Generation Artists in Concert with Oliver Gooch;

Who can resist enjoying all of this fabulous music in the gorgeous Peto Gardens at Iford Manor. Create the whole atmosphere and enjoy your tasty picnic in true style. Just hope the weather matches the event and is glorious too…if not…well we Brits. can always rise above a bit of rain and damp grass!! The view across the Iford Valley is stunning no matter what!!

A bi-annual event and a high spot for village life….Gardens Open Steeple Ashton Wiltshire 2017….. It always falls on the 22 Sunday of the year….This year is Sunday 4th June 2017


An attraction to suit ALL ages…the “teddy bears picnic” in one garden, with sweets on offer, meant for children but fathers might partake too!
